John Paul Stitt
After completing his degree in Small Business Management from Shepherd University John took over as the president and operator of Royal Resources. Coupled with his education and the expert advice of his father, John has easily transitioned into his new role in the family business. Intent on preserving the legacy of excellence and reputation his father built, John’s leadership of the company continues to adapt to the ever changing industry in order to best fit the needs of our clients.
Mike began his career in the oil and gas business through the guidance and tutelage of Ed Stitt and Royal Resources in the latter part of the 1980’s. From that time forward he has worked in all aspects of the land services business with a primary focus on lease acquisition and title. Mike has worked in Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and West Virginia and has extensive experience in the existing and emerging shale plays including the Barnett, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, Marcellus and Utica. Though his duties now prevent him from doing so exclusively, Mike prefers to be in the field working hand in hand with other members of the team to meet and exceed each client’s expectations.
Rick is one of the most well rounded landmen on the Royal Resources staff. Whether working independently or in-house (Vice President of Land Cities Service Oil and Gas Corporation) Rick has been on the front lines of the oil and gas business since the late 70’s and has been intimately involved in the ups and downs of the industry during that period. From running one and two man teams to managing the land department of an industry major, Rick brings a wealth of knowledge to the team at Royal Resources.
